Heavy chemtrailing produces another 'rare' sundog over Tayside.

It's been a bit overcast in Tayside so I've not had a chance to photograph any spraying for a few days. Unfortunately they've been spraying heavily above the gloom. This was evident when the sun started to fight through the chemical haze and we got a 'beautiful' sundog over Tayside this afternoon. These are supposed to be 'rare' but are quite common in the east of Scotland after heavy spraying. The colours in the outer part of the sundog are due to the various chemicals from the chemtrailing. These are heavy metals like barium, strontium, aluminium. beryllium, cadmium etc. The heavy metal used will depend on the  ingredients of the relevant registered patent being used.
Here are a few of the photos from this afternoon. Click on the photos to enlarge...

  1. Great photo's mate, keep up the good work! It definitely seems to be more hazy on the east coast although we've been very overcast for the last week or so too.

Typically, as soon as the blue sky appeared today the chemtrails did too...

You should set up a time-lapse if you can to catch them, I use Droid Timelapse which is really good.

  2. hi..cheers. It's overcast again today so who knows what's happening above the gloom.
I'll look into that time lapse photography that you mentioned. I usually just take dozens of photos and pick the best ones..not very scientific....but ok in the digital camera age. Imagine being a chemtrail watcher pre digital. Waiting two weeks for your prints to come back from truprint :)
I've been looking at your photos of early chemtrailing. I'll have to dig some of my old photos out and check the background sky.
Did you ever see the article about the retrospective doctoring of old films and cartoons ? 'The Railway Children' was remastered with 'appropriate' skies photoshopped in...ie chemtrailed skies.
