Chemtrailing operations suspended over Tayside.

This must be one of the longest spells without chemtrails in Tayside that I can remember. It must be 4 or 5 days now since we've had consistent chemtrailing. There was a short spell of no activity for  a few days  last year during the London Olympics opening and closing ceremonies but nothing this long. It may be because of the 3 week NATO exercise 'Joint Warrior' which is currently taking place in Scotland and involves our land, sea and air forces. The aircrews will be wanting clear skies to practise their intercepts I would imagine.
RAF Leuchars in Fife which borders Tayside is hosting some NATO aircraft for the exercise and I've seen a lot more flying activity than usual.
The Typhoon fighters are based at Leuchars until the base closes in 2014 and they are quite a common site overhead. If you go walking in the local glens then you will often see them hugging the valley floors......

We've had the Super Etendard from the French airforce flying around....

...as well as their aerborne radar aircraft the Hawkeye...seen here following some Super Etendards and what looks like 2 Rafale fighters......

The sky was almost back to 'normal' over Tayside today and I took a few pictures ...

morning

afternoon..real clouds !

evening..this aircraft went over in the evening to spoil things :(
